Ameeta Biography

Ameeta is an Indian film industry actress. She 11 (Qamar Sultana) was born in April 1940 in Kolkata, India. His mother’s name is Shakuntala Devi and his father’s name is Choudhary Riaz Ahmed. When Ameeta was one year old, her father died. After that, she moved from Lahore to Mumbai where she started her education in boarding school. Ameeta’s favorite actress was Madhubala. When he was 11 years old, he played the swordsman role of Madhubala in a fiction which Madhubala had played in Badal movie. Which was liked by Lekharaj Bhakhri who immediately signed him in his film and his career started from here.

Career

Ameeta started her career in 1953. When she was 11 years old, she participated in a production where she played the swordsman Madhubala. Lekharaj Bhakhri was also present in this faction. Lekharaj Bhakhri liked his acting very much. And immediately he played a side role in his film Thokar. This was his first film in which he played a side role. And on this, he was also given the credit of the name Jayjaywanti. After that, she was seen playing the role of herself in the next film. Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the first film of his career which was released on 1 July 1954. It is directed by Vijay Bhatt and written by Pandit Girish. Ameeta’s career debut was Floop but she continued her career. After, the next film of his career was released in 1955, which is called Munimji.

The film was directed by Subodh Mukherjee and Ameeta played the role of Bela in the film. After, his next film was released in 1956, which is called Ab-E-Hayat. After that, he got an opportunity to work with his favorite actress Madhubala. Madhubala and Ameeta played their role in the Shirin Farhad movie. In this movie, Madhubala played the role of Princess Shirin. And Ameeta played the role of Shama Shirin Farhad The film was directed by Aspi Irani. And this movie was written by Hakim Riaz Latta. Similarly, he played his role in many films, the list of which is given below. , his next film was released in 1957 which is called Tumsa Nahin Dekha. This film was very successful in his career and the film was directed by Nasir Hussain. This film was very successful at the box office.

1961 To 2005

In this film, Ameeta played the role of Meena, but despite her sensitive performance, she was ignored. All the credit for the success of this film was given to Rajendra Kumar. And Ameeta was ignored. If we say that Shammi Kapoor and Rajendra Kumar are famous because of Ameeta, then it will not be wrong. Which proved to be lucky for them. But Ameeta never took any benefit from his films. After that, he released his next film Chhote Nawab in 1961. And released the films Pyase Panchhi, Piya Milan Ki Aas, and Teen Ustad in the same year. After that, he acted in the movie Rakhi in 1962. In which he played the role of Malti Chandra. And then again in this, he was neglected by the big superstar of the Bollywood industry who never let him get a foothold in the Bollywood industry.
Although he got success in the movie Rakhi, he was ignored in that too. After that, his next film Mere Mehboob released in 1963 pushed him down despite the success of this film. And reduced his fans, even more, that’s why his career could not grow. The other star left him behind, and despite the success of his films, he was ignored every time. And when Asha Parekh had reached the pinnacle of success. So Ameeta played negative roles in Haseena Maan Jayegi (1968) and Around the World (1967) and from here her career began to end as one of the best actresses seen playing negative and villain roles. His last film was Haseena Maan Jayegi which was released in 1968. After this film, he said goodbye to the Bollywood industry.
And started living their married life. After that, Ameeta came to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award on November 20, 2005, after which she was not seen again.
