Mahira Khan was born on December 21, 1984, in Karachi. She belonged to an Urdu-speaking muscular family. And they migrated to Pakistan at the time of partition. Mahira Khan received his early education from Foundation Public School. And at age 17, she moved to California to study. He graduated from Santa Monica College and did not complete his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California. And Mahira returned home in 2008 and started her career as a VJ in 2006.
Mahira Khan started her film career in 2011. His first film was directed by Shoaib Mansoor. The film had a total budget of Rs 7 crore while it grossed Rs 16.80 crore at the box office. Mahira then started her television career or her first drama was Neeyat which was released in 2011. She has also acted in many films and dramas. Khan is one of the highest-paid actors who earns Rs 850,000 per installment.

Mahira played the role of Shano in Sadqay Tumhare in 2014. The play was directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin.
Mahira Khan starred opposite Humayun Saeed in the 2015 film Bin Roy. The film was directed by Shahzad Kashmiri. Mahira acted in the Indain film Raees in 2016.
